Had to click on this because I also have a shelf just for salt. I designed my kitchen in zones so that ingredients and tools are stored together by use or type ie: baking prep tools with baking ingredients etc. This all seems obvious to me. I bet loads of people do this. The only complaint I have about this is there’s a lot of wasted space in this cabinets because she’s choosing a little more form over function.
