It’s officially summertime, and Kelly Ripa is juggling her daytime TV show Live With Kelly and Ryan and her new hosting gig on the comedy quiz game show Generation Gap. While she may not always be soaking in the sun it hasn’t stopped her from feeling nostalgic about past beach vacations. Unsurprisingly, she looked amazing in her throwback pic.
On July 7, Kelly posted a picture from a 2008 family vacation on Instagram. Posing in the ocean with husband Mark Consuelos, their kids (Michael, Lola and Joaquin) and her in-laws, the former All My Children actress looked stunning in a red bikini, sunglasses and a floppy hat.
“#tbt 2008,” she captioned the post. “A Consuelos family reminder to watch Generation Gap tonight at 9pm, 8 central on ABC. Bikinis optional. We’ve been bridging the gap for years! #generationgap #abc.”

Wow. We need to score an invite to the next Consuelos tropical getaway ASAP. If you’re not sure what Kelly is referencing in the caption, she’s talking about her new TV slot on ABC. Generation Gap pairs seniors and juniors as they try to answer pop culture questions from each other’s generations.
Shows aside, fans wasted no time complimenting Kelly on her bikini look. Many couldn’t help but feel shocked by how incredible the mother of three appeared.
“🔥😍❤️,” one person wrote. “Body goals! 🙌🔥,” another added. “Great Photo Beautiful Family ❤️,” a different fan said.
What’s more, a follower voiced a wish for this dynamic duo to partner up on a future episode of Generation Gap: “I’ll be watching. Your father-in-law & Joaquin would be the team I’d most like to see. And Happy Belated #nationalbikiniday!“
We’re so thrilled to see Kelly thriving, and we hope to see more family photos from this year’s vacation soon!
