Even though the next installment of the Invictus Games (a sporting tournament for injured and wounded veterans) isn’t for another eleven months, the organization has released a new advert getting us all excited about what’s to come – and given that a certain Prince Harry is both a founder and patron for the games, it makes sense that he has a little cameo in it. As does his wife, Meghan Duchess of Sussex.
The short clip, which lasts just over a minute and a half, and is shot in an atmospheric black-and-white gradient, showcases a whole host of athletes playing table tennis – before cutting to a shot of Harry getting in on the action and grabbing a bat too.
Next, the advert shows the prince (who is an armed forces veteran himself) high-five another player, who takes over his spot at the table, before the clip goes back to showing Harry gearing up for another match against an opponent that he can’t help but make some major (IMO flirty) eye contact with… Meghan. Cute!
Honestly watch it for yourself and just see the vibes between them radiating out of the screen:
It seems we’re not the only ones picking up on that sweet moment between the couple either, with Twitter users quick to chime in with their thoughts on the Invictus Games’ new advert.
“Its the gaze of H @ M and his swag walk towards the end. Did you all notice it?” one person wrote, while another commented, “Oh my, I could use those looks to light my fire this evening 🔥🔥🔥.” (Which, quite frankly, we couldn’t agree more with).
Anyone else super excited for the Games now?
Tickets for the next Invictus Games, which will take place in Düsseldorf during September 2023, are on sale now. Snap them up here.
