Sam Heughan may be successful as Jamie Fraser on Outlander, but acting isn’t the only trick up his sleeve. His alcohol brand, Sassenach Spirits, continues to grow by the second — and now, the actor is boasting some big news about it on Instagram.
In a brand new video shared on his social media platforms, the actor is seen dressed in a dapper tuxedo and bowtie. As he takes a sip from his award-winning whiskey, he seductively stares into the lens while initiating a “Cheers!” to the camera. He captioned the clip with exciting news for his American followers.
“Today’s the day!” he wrote on December 1. “#SassenachWhisky is available in the USA 🥃 🇺🇸. Visit SassenachWhisky.com for your Gold!”
While fans were certainly thrilled to hear Sam’s big announcement, they were equally as excited to see The Spy Who Dumped Me star all dressed up in black-tie attire.
“I don’t even drink and I’m going to order a bottle 😂,” one person wrote on Instagram. “As long as HE comes with the whiskey …❤️,” a different follower not-so-subtly joked. “Weird proposal, but YES!,” a different user added.
The news of Sam’s expanding alcohol brand comes just a few weeks after he received major accolades for a recent project. In October, the Men in Kilts host published his memoir Waypoints: My Scottish Journey, and it quickly made it to #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. This is all as he continues to work on his fitness brand My Peak Challenge and fans wait for Outlander season 7 to drop next year.
So much exciting stuff happening for Sam. Clearly, his James Bond-like whiskey ads are working!
