Home Town star Erin Napier gave fans a peek at what she keeps on her nightstand, and it’s probably not what you think.
In addition to letters from her husband, Ben, she keeps a variety of books and journals on her large nightstand. Most notably, Erin is also sipping the royal tea dished out in Prince Harry’s new memoir, Spare (along with the rest of us!). She writes about the book, “OBVIOUSLY because I’m a nosey American and I still love Diana.”
In the less dramatic reading section, she also has Rob Delaney’s A Heart That Works “for a good cry,” and the devotional Streams in the Desert. She even included a read for her girls, Helen and Mae, Emma Straub’s Very Good Hats. Missing from the nightstand collection of books? Napier’s own recently published children’s book, The Lantern House, as well as she and her husband’s memoir, Make Something Good Today, though we’re sure they’re not far away!
Erin also has a sweet duo of journals, one to record her day and another to jot down things her daughters said, aka the cutest idea in the world.
And the finishing touch on her nightstand? Only “the best water,” Mountain Valley Spring Water. Who knew she had such strong taste in bottled water?!
The Napiers just renovated their 1930s Tudor-style home and shared the process and finished product on an episode of Home Town, giving viewers a nearly full tour. Erin has also taken to Instagram to show followers a few views of the home the show didn’t catch, including the gorgeous living room that “didn’t need renovation.” You can catch new episodes of the show on HGTV on Sundays at 8 EST/7 CST. Catch up on past episodes, including this special country house reveal, on Discovery+.
