Well folks, we made it through another round of TV dating. After the first season of Indian Matchmaking became a massive hit in July 2020, we waited patiently to see the new couples matchmaker Sima Taparia had in store for us.
Yes, season 2 had some happy endings, like Pradhyuman Maloo and Ashima Chauhan‘s destination wedding and Shital Patel finding love with Niraj Mehta. But it also left us wondering what other love matches Sima may have up her sleeve. Luckily, the streamer is making our romantic dreams come true and letting us go on another round of dates very soon.

Will there be a season 3 of Indian Matchmaking?
According to a March announcement from Netflix, Indian Matchmaking was renewed for season 3 alongside Love is Blind and Too Hot to Handle. Unfortunately, though, there is no official release date as of yet. We’ll update this article when we hear more!
Who will be in the cast of Indian Matchmaking season 3?
Based on previous seasons, we can suspect Sima Taparia will return as the show’s official matchmaker. After all, we can’t not have Sima Aunty give her thoughts on the perfect match for the show’s singles.
As far as the other Indian Matchmaking season 3 cast members, we can also assume Priya Ashra will come back for another go-around. Since her romance journey was introduced in the final moments of season 2 and she never got any screen time with Sima, it’s safe to say the London-based personality will want some romantic advice this time around. Plus, it looks like she confirmed the news.

While details for Indian Matchmaking season 3 are currently being kept under wraps, creator/executive producer Smriti Mundhra gave a few details about what Indian Matchmaking season 3 will entail.

In an August interview with Today, he dished that the new episodes will feature a mix of old and new cast members starring next to the show’s resident matchmaker.
“It’ll be similar to season two in that the idea is to always keep expanding on the conversations that the show brings up in organic ways,” she told the outlet. “We’ll stick with characters whose journeys are continuing audiences, then also introduce new people that audiences can fall in love with.”
