Word of advice for newbies- do not use the jumbo yarn as in what’s now considered jumbo yarn as of 2018. I stupidly tried using the bernat big blanket (7) which was a total disaster especially given this was my first ever arm blanket. I assumed so many things such as this tutorial was like those I’d seen snippets of using the chunky yarn. But the yarn used here is no where near chunky or jumbo -that was my biggest error assuming that not realizing this video was from 2015 Grab thin yarn I’m guessing that would work best. It’s an excellent verbal tutorial with good visuals and camera angles. It’s just not for beginners and total newbies.
