Between her busy life hosting Jeopardy! and starring in Call Me Kat, Mayim Bialik has a lot on her plate. That said, she always knows how to find the funny in everything she does for work.
In a new post shared to The Big Bang Theory actress’ Instagram, she recalled a comical story involving a work policy for Jeopardy!. As Mayim told her followers, the quiz show asked for her to submit a photo so it could be printed on her official ID. As she’s also a comedienne, she thought it would be funny to send in a disheveled selfie from her first mammogram appointment instead of a professional headshot.
Unsurprisingly, the picture of the Breakdown podcast host in a hospital gown, pink glasses and a messy bun eventually became her identifier. “When @jeopardy asks you to send a picture for your ID and you decide to be funny and send the selfie you took in the dressing room at your first ever mammogram. 😆,” she wrote on November 14.
It looks like Mayim had a good chuckle from it, and so did her fans. Many wasted no time sharing their own quips on social media, relating to the Blossom alum‘s unexpected conundrum.
“You should see my photo on my Costco ID card,” one follower joked in the comments on Instagram. “I CANNOT 😂,” a different person said. “That is fantastic lmao 😂😂😂😂😂😂,” another added.

As Mayim shows us time and time again, she’s not afraid to let fans in on the funnier moments when she’s not in front of the cameras. And as it turns out, the photo she used for her ID is back from May 2019, when she vlogged the entire experience for those who follow her popular YouTube channel.
Needless to say, we all can relate to Mayim’s hilarious woe!
