The look that Miranda Lambert just donned on the red carpet made our jaws drop!
The country singer attended the 2022 TIME100 Gala with husband Brendan McLoughlin by her side. It was a big night in Miranda’s career, and let’s just say that she did not come to disappoint when she showed up in this sizzling ensemble.
The “If I Was a Cowboy” singer traded in her fringe and denim for a body-hugging dress and classic red lip that exudes that stunning old Hollywood glamour vibe. Miranda let her blonde tresses flow and added an eye-catching diamond necklace to finish off the look.
Brendan kept things classic in a black tux and bow tie. His ensemble went perfectly with Miranda’s sophisticated look and was kept simple to make sure nothing distracted from Miranda’s big night.
This year, “Actin’ Up” singer was recognized by TIME as one of their innovators of the year. With over two decades of country music stardom under her belt and the success of her latest album Palomino that earned her the top-selling country album of the year, Miranda has a lot to celebrate.
“It’s a huge honor. It’s a huge deal for me,” she said during a red carpet interview. “I was actually shocked, but I’m so thankful to be part of this and just to know that all the work I’ve done over the last 20 years in this industry has gotten me here and that I’m doing some change for good and that I’m using my music to do that,” she continued.
Later in the night, Miranda kept the good times rolling in her signature fringe and flare jumpsuit when she began the night by performing “Actin’ Up” and “Tin Man” at the TIME100 Gala. After a two year hiatus, the celebration returned to celebrate some of the world’s most influential people and Miranda was rightfully among that group.
Other honorees included Channing Tatum, Zendaya, Oprah Winfrey, and Adele to name a few. Although, we haven’t seen Miranda’s moving performance at the event, we’re counting down the days until we can.
TIME100: The World’s Most Influential People airs Sunday, June 12 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC. This will be the first time the event has been televised and we can’t wait to watch!
