It’s a fact: Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin love spending time together at every chance they get.
The country singer and her husband, who will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary in January, recently enjoyed some time on the strip in Las Vegas in between performances of her Velvet Radio Residency. On December 3, Miranda shared a post of the couple dressed to the nines for a date night posing in front of holiday decoration at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel. What’s more, the photo collection also featured snaps with friends, who appeared the couple’s downtime before shows resumed.
“Had a few fun days off wanderin’ around Vegas! Now back to work tonight! #VelvetRodeo 🤠💙,” Miranda captioned the Instagram post.
After reading her note, country music fans appreciated seeing what the Grammy-winning artist was up to when she wasn’t performing onstage at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
Unsurprisingly, fans of the Palomino vocalist also flooded her comments section to give Brendan a shout-out. “You two look so happy. Keep smiling and always keep it country,” one person wrote. “Happiness looks good on you 🔥🔥🔥,” a different individual said. “You two are just the most ADORABLE EVER!” another added.
Luckily, Miranda’s next show isn’t until March, which means the Texas native will get to enjoy more than just a few days off with her husband. This also means Miranda and Brendan will get the chance to spend the holidays having fun and relaxing together. It’s something she’ll definitely need before returning to the stage now that she’s added even more shows to her residency lineup that was supposed to end in April but now goes until December 2023.
In case you’re wondering what she plans on performing when she returns to the stage, longtime listeners will probably recognize each song choice. “What I learned from those shows alone was that you’re in Vegas because you built a catalog, so play the songs that people know and love from you, ” she told Billboard.
And we’re sure Brendan will be cheering her on from the stands!
