Hollywood sure loves its fashion moments, and 2022 Emmy nominee Connie Britton certainly brought her love of couture to the latest major TV event.
While walking the red carpet for the 2022 Emmy Awards ceremony, The White Lotus star made heads turn when she showed up in a salmon-colored sweetheart mermaid gown. While the dress looked great on the Friday Night Lights alum, the true standout of the look was the one-shouldered cape that accented the ensemble.
As the dress didn’t feature any embellishments or beading, Connie’s jewelry helped make the entire moment pop pre-ceremony. While she didn’t wear anything on her hands aside from a few rings, the actress did sparkle with a pair of diamond chandelier earrings. As for the rest of the outfit, Connie left things minimalistic with her blonde hair pulled into a bun. She also showed off a natural makeup look.
Longtime fans of Connie immediately headed over to social media to gush about how fabulous she looked during the arrivals of the awards show.
“THE BOLD PINK! I AM HERE FOR IT! CONNIE BRITTON THE WOMAN YOU ARE,” one fan commented on Twitter. “First rule of cape: 1. Try to be Connie Britton,” another viewer responded. “Obsessed with that gown! 😍,” a different person said.
At the 2022 Emmys, Connie was nominated for an Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series for her work in The White Lotus. Though the win went to her fellow co-star Jennifer Coolidge, who played Tanya in the hit HBO series, all signs are pointing to her excitement for her cast members.
Folks couldn’t get enough of Connie cheering on her fellow White Lotus actor Murray Bartlett, who won for Best Supporting Actor. Upon hearing his name, the 9-1-1 alum excitedly got up from her seat and quickly congratulated Murray as he passed by to go up on stage.
“Connie Britton’s reaction to Murray Bartlett winning is just too sweet,” one person tweeted. “Connie Britton is the ultimate hype woman,” another added.
We couldn’t agree more!
