Apart from being an award-winning TV host and celebrated actor, Jimmy Fallon is also known for his singing voice. So, it makes sense why folks are ready to hear more of his performances in season 2 of That’s My Jam.
Based on several games played on his hit late night talk show, Jimmy features two teams of celebrities competing for a prize for their chosen charity. With signature trivia-style games like “Air Guitar,” “Wheel of Impossible Karaoke” and “Perfect Mash-Up,” it’s the ideal setting to create memorable moments as was the case with season 1.
Since the Tonight Show host concluded the inaugural installment back in January, fans have been wondering if there will a season 2 of That’s My Jam. Luckily, we have some answers, and you’ll be thrilled by the news.
Here’s all the information you need to know about That’s My Jam season 2, including premiere date, cast and how to watch
Will there be a season 2 of That’s My Jam? When is That’s My Jam season 2 premiering?
In February, Deadline reported that a season 2 of That’s My Jam is officially happening. But this might not come as a total surprise given that it was NBC’s best digital launch to date, with over 250 million views across multiple platforms.
As far as the bigger details, it’s hard to say. NBC hasn’t officially announced a premiere date, the number of episodes nor the celebrities participating. That said, the majority of season 1 aired in January with a total of six episodes. It wouldn’t be out of the question if season 2 premiered sometime early next year.
Who is expected to return for That’s My Jam season 2?
Jimmy will, of course, return as the host. As for the rest of the guest celebrities, since the show is distributed by NBC, it’s plausible to see other network personalities pop up as well.
Fans may remember, last season The Voice coaches Blake Shelton, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend appeared in the show’s debut. America’s Got Talent host Terry Crews graced the stage alongside singer Chance the Rapper, former Empire actress Taraji P. Henson, Truth Be Told star Kate Hudson, artist Bebe Rexha and more.
We’ll keep an eye out for when NBC announces the official guest list for season 2.
