We know Blake Shelton plans to leave The Voice after season 23. But is he leaving the TV airwaves forever? Not if fans have anything to say about it.

Over the last few months, the country singer juggled being both a veteran NBC coach and co-host of his reality show Barmageddon with Carson Daly and Nikki Bella. Ahead of the USA Network show’s season 1 finale, Blake took to Instagram to share how grateful he was for the experience and everyone who helped the new project become a success amongst its viewers.

“And that’s a wrap for season 1 @BarmageddonUSA!!!!” the “God’s Country” vocalist wrote on January 24. “Can’t believe this crazy idea of ours came to life, @carsondaly.”

He continued: “Thank you to @usa_network and everyone who worked so hard on this show, @thenikkibella for being the badass host she is, to our celebrity guests who for some reason decided to come on our show, to @olered, and to all the people and fans who tuned-in week after week. Hope y’all had as much fun watching it as we did making it!!! Cheers!!!!”

‘Barmageddon’

While followers were thrilled to see Blake’s happiness on social media, his emotional post about the Barmageddon finale posed lots of questions. Mainly, fans wanted to know if a season 2 was in store.

“Please tell me there will be season 2!!” one person wrote in the comments. “It was so much fun to watch!! Hope you have another season!! 🤞🤞,” another implored. “Fun show, hope you’re coming back next season 🙏,” a different user added.

As of right now, there have been no announcements over whether Barmageddon will move forward with a season 2. But folks won’t have to wait too long before Blake comes back to television in his signature way.

The Voice season 23 will be back on March 6, meaning we’ll see the Grammy nominee back to his old tricks one last time.
