No one seemed quite as excited as Hoda Kotb to say farewell to 2022 and ring in the new year.

The Today show co-anchor had fans flooding her Instagram comments section when she shared some snaps of her celebrating 2023 in Palm Beach, Florida, with her daughters, Haley Joy and Hope Catherine, along with a few close friends. Multiple photos showed the girls lighting sparklers in matching red dresses. What’s more, Hoda and her friend Jennifer Miller wore festive headbands and blew party horns. And before the holiday night was over, the group caught peeks of yellow and orange on the horizon.

“Goodbye 2022!!!! Last sunset,” Hoda captioned the Instagram gallery. “Here’s to 2023 ❤️❤️.”

After seeing Hoda’s Instagram post, Today show fans were quick to share their well wishes and love for the 58-year-old NBC star. “This is beautiful. Happy blessings to you and your little ladies,” one person wrote in the comments section. “This is so sweet 💕,” a different follower said. “Beautiful picture. May you and the girls have a happy and blessed New Year ❤️,” another added.

In a sweet surprise, fellow Today show co-host Jenna Bush Hager also chimed in with a comment: “Yass! That’s the way we celebrate! ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥.”

Looking at Hoda’s social media it’s clear that when she’s not being broadcasted into the homes of people across the country, she spends every chance she can with her kids. Hoda and former fiancé Joel Schiffman welcomed Haley, 5, and and Hope, 3, via adoption back in February 2017 and April 2019, respectively. Although the pair announced their separation in January 2022, Hoda hasn’t dismissed the idea of adopting a third child.

“It’s definitely in the universe for me,” she told People in August 2022. “I feel like whatever is meant to be is meant to be. But I know a few things. I have love and time, and we have an open space.”

She continued: “Every time I see a child who needs something or read about a child, my heart’s breaking. I’m like, I know if we could invite them into our home just what it would mean. Not just for the child, but for us.”

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that Today fans would cheer her on every step of the way.
