While sharing their opinions on The View, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar enjoy goofing around with one another. And recently, hilarity struck again when one co-host experienced a wardrobe malfunction while filming.
During a recent taping of the ABC talk show, Joy found herself in a predicament amid a commercial break. In between segments, she discovered her shirt pulled down enough to cause her bra to peek through. Although producers quickly caught the mishap and helped her fix it before going back on air, Whoopi decided to call her out on the hilarious behind-the-scenes moment.
“The biggest surprise happened to us seconds ago when Joy’s bra started making all kinds of eyes at people at the table,” she joked with the audience on the February 14 episode. “It was like an earthquake and suddenly the bra was like, ‘Hello!’ It was something else.”

While the incident could’ve ended there, Joy couldn’t let the moment slide without a remark. It happened to be Valentine’s Day, which prompted Joy to quip how the malfunction was a special surprise for those not expecting it.
“That was my special gift to all the old people out there on Valentine’s Day … all the old guys,” she joked.
Given how the two constantly rile each other up on the show, it wasn’t a true surprise to see them tease each other as part of their on-air rapport.
It’s clear that Whoopi values her friendship with Joy. Recently, the Ghost actress addressed the press spinning stories of the two feuding off-camera, citing how angry it makes her.
“We have been friends for a hundred years … First of all, if I was upset with Joy, I would never do it on the show. I would tell Joy something was bothering me,” Whoopi explained on the show. “Please. You know, y’all are making it hard to have fun.”
In other words, there’s nothing to see here … except for two friends poking fun at each other.
