With the recent success of Wednesday on Netflix, Jenna Ortega is certainly grabbing the attention of many. But it’s not just her acting skills earning recognition. The 20 year old is also making a name for herself in the fashion world as well.
In mid-November, the You alum attended the 2nd annual Critics Choice Association Celebration of Latino Cinema & Television in Los Angeles. She shone while walking the red carpet, thanks to a memorable one-shouldered look. Wearing a matching black bra and underwear set underneath, her gown was an instant showstopper due to the see-through black material strategically placed. The sheer dress was form-fitting, going down her left arm into a long sleeve and continuing to the floor.
With a look so daring, it made sense for Jenna to continue playing up the allure of the risqué outfit.
She paired it with black platform heels and her red painted nails popped against the monochromic ensemble. Her dark hair was placed in a messy bun, with framing pieces pulled out. As for hair and makeup, the Scream star wore smoky black eyeshadow, rosy blush and matching lipstick.
When the former Disney Channel star posted photos taken from the night on Instagram, Wednesday fans were immediately enthralled with her.
“Jenna … which queen is this??? I’m speechless… it’s too perfect! It’s spectacular! 🖤,” one person wrote in the comments section. “So beautiful! 🖤🥺,” another said. “🔥🔥🔥🔥,” a different follower added.
Jenna’s venture into fashion just proves that everyone from the Wednesday cast (including Christina Ricci) has a keen sense of fashion. What’s more, this isn’t the only time she’s modeled a black see-through outfit for an event. She was recently a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, during which she wrore a Wednesday Addams-inspired see-through dress.
Maybe there’s a chance the actress will wear something akin to this should Wednesday be renewed for season 2 …
