Alexandra Daddario is no stranger to wearing daring looks for red carpet appearances. In light of her new show Mayfair Witches premiering on January 8, she showed off a different side of herself with a bold fashion choice.
Back in December, The White Lotus actress attended the Los Angeles premiere for the AMC series. While folks may be familiar with her out-there ensembles, Alexandra embraced the show’s genre by arriving to the Hollywood event in a three-tiered gothic-inspired black and gold strapless gown. The dress featured a polka dot pattern and a lace texture, which further accentuated the heightened drama of the look.
The outfit also had mini-sleeves billowing from the top of the design, giving it a more whimsical feel to what could only be described as a show-stopping moment. As for her accessories, she donned a black beaded choker and a thick black leather belt.
The outfit’s theme continued in the Baywatch star’s hair and makeup as well. Her dark locks were styled into a strategically messy bun, while she wore dark eyeliner and a black lip color to match.
When Alexandra later shared two behind-the-scenes posts from the night over on Instagram, it wasn’t long before her followers noticed. They immediately took to the comments section to voice their thoughts.
“The dress is absolutely beautiful,” one person wrote. “You look great. Love the dress,” another fan commented. “GORGEOUS SO GORGEOUS 👏👏👏👏,” a different user added.
Seeing the American Horror Story alum go out of the box for the red carpet just cements her as a Hollywood trendsetter. What’s more, she’s been known to cause a commotion with other outfits too. She certainly had heads turning when she showed up wearing a grey form-fitting gown at the 2022 Baby2Baby Gala a few weeks earlier in November.
If this look is what fans can expect when Mayfair Witches premieres, we can’t wait to see what other gothic-inspired outfit Alexandra will wear next.
