This story contains slight spoilers from Yellowstone season 5.

It may be only a few weeks since Yellowstone season 5 aired its midseason finale, but the Paramount Network series has no problem making viewers yearn for a fan-favorite couple while on break.

Fans recently freaked out when the show posted a memorable clip from the latest season over on their official Instagram account. In the short video, folks saw Beth (Kelly Reilly) feel a mix of emotions toward her husband Rip (Cole Hauser) who was preparing to head out for a gathering. After seeing right through her, the ranch hand dropped what he was doing and spoke from the heart.

“Beth, love of my life,” he says in the snippet. “I don’t think I can survive two days alone. And God knows that you hate horses and cattle and being dirty and cold, and especially being told what to do. All of which is going to happen tomorrow. But, would you consider coming and sparing me the misery of being without you?”

Naturally, this moment between Rip and his childhood sweetheart made folks emotional. Yellowstone fans quickly took to the comments section to share just how much they loved seeing the character bare his feelings for Beth.

“And THIS is why we all want (and need) a Rip in our lives ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” one person wrote on Instagram. “My literal all time favorite moment of the entire show 😂😂😍😍,” a different follower added. “I CAN NOT RIGHT NOW WITH THIS 🥺 His words touched my heart. EVERY MAN take note indeed ❤️,” another user noted.

With the hit drama set to return later this summer, it’s only a matter of time until we get to see what their next adventure is. As far as Beth and Rip’s romance, actor Cole Hauser is also honest about the relationship’s nature.

“They were meant for each other, 1000%,” he told Awards Daily in June 2022. “They are soulmates, for good or bad. They’re going to have their differences, their viewpoints. They’re not perfect.”
