*Spoilers ahead*

‘Ello, you. Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) has returned, but this time, he’s not the only one doing the watching …

Serial viewers already know that You season 4, part 1 kicked off with a serious bang. The new installment of the Netflix series set the scene in London as a slew of Clue-like hijinks occur among the upper echelons. By the end, Joe, or shall we say, Jonathan, comes face-to-face with his kindred-spirit-turned-stalker Rhys Montrose (Ed Speleers). The cliffhanger ends with Joe’s intent to unmask him as the Eat the Rich Killer before he strikes again. Jinkies!

Fortunately, it’s only a matter of time before we find out how it all goes down.

Are there more episodes of You season 4?

Letting the suspense build, Netflix dropped a teaser of the remaining episodes. Rhys puts the pressure on Joe to team up, while the video ends with a certain someone reappearing onscreen. Love (Victoria Pedretti) is seen in the infamous glass box waiting for Joe.

Though cautious to take things at face value, You fans couldn’t hide their shock at every glimpse. “That scene of Love at the end made me gasp,” one person wrote on YouTube. “I wonder how many seasons we’re getting because this just makes me want more!” a different person commented.

Others speculated that some characters exist only in Joe’s imagination. “Even if Love is only a hallucination, I hope Victoria Pedretti stays around for all of part 2,” another fan said. “The theory of Rhys being Joe’s imagination [kind of] adds up. He created Rhys so that he can continue [to] deny that he’s a murderer,” another added.

Showrunner Sera Gamble can confirm that the rest of the episodes will explore the frenemies. “The second half of the season is now going to be very much about the relationship between Joe and Rhys,” she told Netflix Tudum. “We shift into a different gear when they can finally just sit down and have a long conversation about what’s really going on.”

Sera added: “It’s not a whodunit. It’s a different kind of serial killer movie where the guy in the passenger seat is just absolutely gleeful about the position he’s put [Joe] in. [The killer] feels no guilt, no shame and thinks it’s silly that you feel those things.”

How can I watch and stream You?

Follow Joe’s every move now: You can watch seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4 part 1 of You on Netflix with subscriptions starting at $6.99 per month. Once purchased, you can also stream the series on your phone via the iPhone or Android Netflix app.
